Job summary

London Metal Exchange in London seeks a Modern Workspace EUC Technology Lead to design, deliver, and manage workplace technology platforms, ensuring secure, reliable digital experiences across desktops, laptops, virtual environments, and productivity services.

You will lead change in EUC, drive adoption of Intune and Autopilot, manage patching and security, oversee Citrix environments, Exchange, and collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and high employee experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) advanced admin, Autopilot, policies, profiles, app lifecycle.
• Windows 11 expert, security baselines, update rings, troubleshooting.
• macOS management with Intune for macOS; iOS MDM frameworks.
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Defender.
• Collaboration hardware and Teams Rooms; Defender for Office; Zero Trust.
• CA/identity protection (Azure AD/Entra ID); CIS baselines; endpoint hardening.
• PowerShell scripting; CI/CD basics; MSI/MSIX/Win32 packaging.
• Deployment automation; software distribution; basic networking; endpoint connectivity.
• Enterprise architecture understanding; containerisation knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead EUC strategy, roadmap, and governance for Windows endpoints, VDI, and productivity tools.
• Own lifecycle of desktop builds, configuration, patching, and hardware standards.
• Drive adoption of Intune, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business and advanced configuration.
• Oversee patching and compliance; partner with Cyber Security on endpoint risks.
• Act as technical lead for Citrix environments; optimize performance and UX.
• Provide Exchange and messaging services expertise; manage mail routing and policies.
• Lead incident and problem resolution; create and maintain technical docs.
• Drive project delivery; engage stakeholders; manage third-party vendors.
