Caval Limited in Derbyshire is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating and tendering process for a varied portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects. This permanent, full-time role offers ownership of cost planning, bid submissions, and collaboration with clients, consultants and internal teams to secure projects.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or in a similar construction estimating role.
• Strong knowledge of construction and refurbishment projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify commercial risks, cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process.
• Support tender negotiations and ensure a smooth handover to project delivery teams.
