Job summary

Ignite Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Waterproofing & Roofing division in Leeds. You will prepare accurate tenders, take-offs and cost plans, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitively priced bids.

You will work with clients, consultants and the internal design and commercial teams to develop buildable, cost-effective solutions and contribute to the successful handover of projects after award.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating roofing, waterproofing or building envelope projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Strong commercial awareness with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries, drawings and specs; prepare estimates and cost plans.
• Obtain and analyse quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop cost-effective, buildable solutions with design teams.
• Prepare detailed tender submissions and support post-tender negotiations.
• Maintain estimating records and support handover of awarded projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
