Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group recruiting for a Roofing & Cladding Estimator based in Northampton. Responsible for producing accurate tenders and cost estimates for high-value roofing and cladding projects across commercial and industrial sectors.

Essential experience in roofing and cladding estimation, with strong reading of drawings and specifications, and the ability to manage multiple tenders while maintaining competitive quotations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the roofing and cladding industry.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, rainscreen cladding, panels and associated products.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience producing detailed cost estimates and tenders.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs for roofing and cladding projects.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Produce accurate tender submissions within required timescales.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and internal teams.
• Support handovers to project delivery teams upon award.
• Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships.
• Monitor market trends and material pricing to ensure competitive quotations.
