Job summary

Fox Construction Recruitment has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Roofing Estimator in the United Kingdom. The role involves accurately pricing and managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, with a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials.

You will review drawings and specifications, produce material and labour take-offs, obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations, and liaise with clients and the contracts team.

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established and growing roofing contractor.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an estimator with a strong understanding of the roofing industry who can confidently price and manage tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.

The role will include:

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for roofing projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents

• Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider contracts team
• Identifying potential risks, variations and value-engineering opportunities
• Managing multiple tenders and deadlines

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous estimating experience within the roofing sector
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials and installation methods
• Excellent numerical and commercial awareness
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills and experience with estimating software would be advantageous

Salary: £50,000 per annum
