Job summary

ITS (Cheltenham) Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead tender submissions for high-value construction projects, overseeing cost plans and pricing strategies from enquiry through to bid submission.

You will coordinate with pre-construction, supply chain and operations, ensuring commercial accuracy and robust allowances while mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimator or Senior Estimator in main contracting sector.
• Strong ability to price construction projects valued at £10m+.
• Excellent understanding of construction methods and procurement routes.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse complex information and produce accurate cost plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of competitive tenders for major construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs and tender docs to determine project requirements.
• Produce accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.
• Manage enquiries with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions.
• Assess project risks and develop allowances and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with operational teams during tender handover and mobilisation.
• Support business development and pre-construction activities.
