Job summary

Invictus Group in Central London is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join the preconstruction team and manage tenders from enquiry to submission. You will price tenders up to £2m, prepare detailed cost plans, issue enquiries, take-offs from drawings, and work with suppliers and internal teams to identify risks and value-engineering opportunities.

Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager, you will support negotiations and ensure a smooth handover to delivery teams on prestigious

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' M&E estimating experience.
• Proven experience pricing tenders up to £2m.
• Strong knowledge of M&E building services and commercial projects.
• Experience with take-off and estimating software.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial and risk management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Preparing M&E tender packages and first-principles pricing up to £2m.
• Producing detailed cost plans and estimating preliminaries.
• Issuing enquiries and analysing supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Carrying out take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Attending site surveys and client/supply chain meetings.
• Working closely with Building Estimators on joint bids.
• Supporting negotiations, supplier selection and tender close-out.
• Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
