Job summary

Referment, partnering with a market-leading specialist contractor, is recruiting two Senior Estimators to join its expanding Pre-Construction team in London. You will lead bids from enquiry to award, develop bid strategies, manage tender programmes and budgets, and mentor bid teams while delivering high-quality commercial and technical submissions.

This role suits an experienced estimator with rail civil or FRC/civil background seeking leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading bid teams on major infrastructure or civil projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading bids in rail civil or FRC/civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bids from enquiry through to contract award.
• Develop bid strategies with senior leadership and chair bid meetings.
• Manage tender programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Coordinate technical and commercial submissions with clients and supply chain.
• Mentor and develop junior estimators and bid professionals.
