The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in London seeks a Senior Estimator to shape the growth of a technology-driven main contractor. You will own substantial packages, lead tender submissions, and build strong subcontractor relationships across commercial refurbishment and retrofit works.

With 5–10 years’ estimating experience, you will bring market-rate intelligence, build sequences knowledge, and a proactive stance on risk and value engineering. Join a fast-scaling team delivering £50k to £10m projects.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' estimating experience in commercial refurbishment or fit-out.
• Projects valued £500k–£10m and turnover £10m–£100m.
• Established subcontractor network in London refurbishments.
• Strong understanding of build sequences and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and build-ups for refurb projects in London.
• Lead or contribute to full tender submissions from enquiry to documents.
• Carry out take-offs, cost comparisons, and clarifications for submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to protect margins.
• Engage subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Support handovers to delivery team with QS input.
• Flag commercial risks with documented assumptions.
