Kenton Black is representing a well-established groundworks and infrastructure contractor in Bedford, seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating function across residential and infrastructure projects.

You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis and supplier quotations, and develop pricing strategies for competitive tenders, while mentoring junior estimators and collaborating with Commercial, Operations and Engineering teams.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of residential groundworks and infrastructure projects.
• Experience pricing earthworks, drainage, foundations, highways and external works.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the preparation of detailed estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop pricing strategies for competitive tender submissions.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the tender process.
