Job summary

Enable Group, a London-based civil engineering and groundworks contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its pre-construction team. You will own tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final bid submission, review tender documents, carry out detailed take-offs and produce accurate cost estimates for schemes up to £25m.

You will work closely with senior management and operations, mentor junior team members, engage with the supply chain and identify value

An established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional who is in the latter stages of their career and can bring a wealth of industry knowledge, commercial awareness and practical experience from a groundworks background. The business delivers a diverse range of technically challenging projects across London, with schemes valued up to £25m.

Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will take ownership of tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final bid submission. You will be responsible for reviewing tender documentation, carrying out detailed take-offs, producing accurate cost estimates, engaging with the supply chain and identifying value engineering opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background within groundworks and civils, with a proven track record of pricing projects and winning work in a competitive market. You will be comfortable working independently, mentoring less experienced team members and providing commercial input during project handovers.

Salary is between £70,000 and £90,000 per annum plus a comprehensive package, depending on experience.
