Senior Estimator - Natural Resources Team

We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, focusing on Civils. You will be responsible for estimating duties on our new Southern Water framework.

Location: With remote working options, you will be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Southern Water contract.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Responsibilities

As a Civils Senior Estimator, you will work closely with our framework delivery team and the client to deliver value-for-money solutions for the Civils elements of work, in line with framework requirements.

• Contribute to all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including early contractor involvement and pre-tender preparations.
• Prepare multi-discipline tender pricing, capable of producing varying levels of detail from budgets to lump sums or targets.
• Review and interpret client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Participate in review and progress meetings, site visits, and meetings.
• Determine project requirements and solutions, including programmes and value engineering, while identifying risks and opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

• A proven track record in delivering tenders and pricing for projects of varying size and complexity within a framework environment.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities quickly.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a good understanding of client requirements and commercial awareness.
