We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, with a focus on Civils. You'll be responsible for estimating duties on our new Wessex Water framework.

Location: With remote working, you'll be able to travel to client sites and offices across the Wessex Water contract, covering Bristol to Bournemouth. Your main office will be Exeter, which you will be required to visit regularly.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Civils Senior Estimator, you'll work closely with our framework delivery team and the client to deliver value-for-money solutions for the Civils elements of work, in line with framework requirements.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including early contractor involvement and pre-work prior to tenders arriving.
• Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing, with the ability to produce different levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
• Reading and understanding client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Attending review and progress meetings, as well as site visits and meetings.
• Determining project requirements and solutions, including programs and value engineering, with risk and opportunity identification.

What are we looking for?

This Senior Estimator role is ideal if you have:

• A proven track record in delivering tenders/pricing of varying size and complexity in the water industry, managing multiple projects within a framework.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase, with quick risk and opportunity identification.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a good understanding of client requirements and commercial awareness.
• Experience in construction projects, preferably in the water industry, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical assets used within the Water Industry.
