You will own the bid from enquiry to submission, coordinating with operations, commercial teams, and supply chains to deliver competitive, technically robust bids on time.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Estimator or Estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or construction.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders with strict deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of competitive tender submissions.
• Manage estimating process across your portfolio of opportunities.
• Develop tender strategies aligned with growth plans.
• Analyze project docs, specs, and contract requirements.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice in estimating.
• Review risks and opportunities to ensure robust submissions.
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams during bids.
• Contribute to bid presentations and client meetings.
