Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its Infrastructure and Civils team in the UK. You will lead tender preparation for major infrastructure and civil engineering projects, from initial enquiry through to contract award, working with pre-construction, bid, and operations teams to deliver competitive, accurate submissions.

The role requires extensive estimating experience in infrastructure, NEC/JCT contracts and CESMM, plus proficiency with estimating software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating experience in infrastructure/civil engineering or demolition/remediation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and civil tenders including groundworks, drainage, remediation and enabling works
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process
• Mentor and support junior estimators within the team
• Assist with value engineering and alternative design proposals
• Contribute to high-quality tender submissions and presentations
