Job summary

Caddick Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team based in the East Midlands working on a variety of Industrial and Logistics projects. As a senior member, you will review tender documents, produce take-offs and detailed cost estimates, and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and the commercial team to drive competitive bids and accurate pricing.

You will be highly numerate, detail oriented and capable of delivering precise estimates under deadline

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with cost planning and two-stage tenders.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and commercial principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software such as Conquest and Bluebeam/CostX.
• Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and conduct cost comparisons.
