Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director in Estimating to lead the production of accurate cost estimates and cost plans for major infrastructure programmes. You will drive best-practice estimating, mentor junior staff, and engage with Directors to win new work with clients.

Based in the UK, you will interface with clients and other consultants at all stages of projects, oversee bid teams, and contribute to growth of the estimated cost management capability within Turner & Townsend.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven experience.
• Experience using estimating software packages.
• Experience on major programmes and in infrastructure (rail, air, power, highways).

Responsibilities

• Lead or manage production of accurate estimates and cost plans for projects/programmes.
• Develop and promote estimating best practices within the firm.
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages; lead bids for new work.
