Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a commercially minded Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) to manage a large public estate, advising on estate management, property transactions and asset strategy.

You will lead landlord and tenant work, acquisitions and disposals, and direct major projects with internal teams and external consultants, ensuring value for communities and public services.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Surveyor with experience in estate management or the wider property sector.
• Strong landlord-and-tenant experience, acquisitions and disposals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management.
• Sound commercial judgement and financial awareness.

• Shape and manage the County Council's land and property portfolio, providing expert estates management advice.
