Job summary

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is hiring a Senior Estates Surveyor within the Investment Portfolio Team to manage part of the Council’s land, property and community asset portfolio. The role is hands-on estate management focused on the Operational portfolio and supports the Council’s Annual Property Plan and Strategic Asset Management Plan.

The ideal candidate is RICS qualified with experience in Local Authority or Commercial environments, with knowledge of community and some commercial

Qualifications

• RICS qualified with experience managing operational assets in Local Authority or commercial property.
• Good knowledge of community leases and some commercial leases.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day-to-day duties from land, property and assets including lease renewals and rent reviews.
• Managing land including sales, due diligence, disputes, service charges and income.
• Lead on the management of a Mobile Home Park.
• Inputting into project groups involving the portfolio.
