Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Programme Lead in Blackpool to oversee major capital project portfolios within the Department for Work and Pensions Estates. The role focuses on supplier management, governance, and delivering end-to-end project outcomes across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Experience delivering large-scale Capex programmes.
Strong stakeholder engagement with senior clients and partners.
Ability to define robust processes for long-term site readiness and occupancy.
Experience in financial business cases (FBC/FBC2) and cost/programme controls.
End-to-end delivery oversight of design, construction, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a comprehensive stakeholder management strategy across projects.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of projects within the portfolio with contractual responsibility for supplier partners.
Lead governance, cost reporting, and change control through RIBA stages.
Prepare and approve detailed design, FF&E schedules, and procurement plans.
Ensure environment, health and safety standards are met and reporting is compliant.
