Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking an experienced Estate Operations Manager to lead a team of estates and property professionals responsible for the delivery and management of the corporate and commercial investment estate in Bolton. You will work with the Corporate Property Services senior team to shape and implement improved estate management services.

You will ensure leases, licences, tenancies and related contracts are in place and develop property reviews and option appraisals to optimise asset

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification in Estates Management.
• MRICS or comparable accreditation.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Experience in estates management, preferably in local government.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of estates and property managers delivering corporate and commercial estate services.
• Shape and implement estate management strategies to optimise portfolio value.
• Ensure leases, licences, tenancies, easements and related contracts are in place.
• Conduct property reviews and option appraisals for fit-for-purpose assets.
