Job description

Are you an experienced ERP professional with a passion for improving business processes and driving digital transformation? Join Elysium Healthcare as the Senior ERP Product Owner to lead the functional development and continuous improvement of our Unit4 ERP platform, helping maximise value for colleagues across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Operational teams.

This is a key role within the Digital & Technology team, acting as the senior functional lead for Unit4 and ensuring the platform continues to meet the evolving needs of the business. Working closely with stakeholders, support teams, and delivery partners, you will shape the ERP roadmap, drive system improvements, and champion solutions that enhance efficiency, reporting, and user experience.

As Senior ERP Product Owner, you will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and translate complex requirements into practical, user-focused solutions. You'll facilitate workshops, map business processes, define requirements, and ensure enhancements deliver meaningful business benefits.

You will own and manage the ERP improvement backlog, helping to prioritise initiatives that support organisational objectives and deliver measurable value. From automation and process simplification to improved reporting and system optimisation, you'll play a central role in shaping the future of the platform.

The role will also involve configuring and maintaining ERP functionality, reports, dashboards, and workflows, ensuring solutions are aligned with business requirements, governance standards, and operational needs. You will support testing, deployments, upgrades, and new releases, coordinating user acceptance testing and ensuring successful implementation and adoption across the organisation.

Working alongside internal support teams, Unit4, third-party partners, and in close partnership with the HRIS Manager in the People Team, you'll provide expert functional guidance on complex issues, challenge proposed solutions where appropriate, and help drive continuous service improvement. You'll also play a key role in developing internal capability through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing, empowering colleagues to make the most of the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder engagement and business requirements.
  • ERP roadmap, backlog and continuous improvement.
  • Solution design, configuration and reporting.
  • Testing, deployment and release management.
  • Service support, supplier and partner collaboration.
  • Training, knowledge transfer and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, reporting, data management, and integrations.
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with Unit4 ERP in a functional, configuration, business analysis, consultancy, or product ownership role.
  • Experience supporting ERP improvements through requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Experience configuring ERP solutions, managing reporting requirements, and supporting user adoption and training.
  • Experience working with suppliers and delivery partners to deliver system enhancements and improvements.
  • Knowledge of Unit4 Finance, HR and/or Payroll modules, reporting tools, workflows, and configuration is desirable.
  • Experience with data migration, integrations, SQL reporting, and system testing is desirable.
  • Experience within healthcare or another regulated environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
