Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to lead ERP implementation projects for SMEs across the UK. The role involves hands-on configuration, integration design with third-party systems and data migration, complemented by strong client engagement to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will mentor junior consultants, contribute to best practices, and engage in pre-sales activities such as scoping and demonstrations.

Qualifications

Proven track record of implementing ERP software in SMEs.
3–5 years in ERP or business software implementation/consulting.
Strong understanding of core business processes and software configuration.
Excellent customer-facing and consultative skills with stakeholders.
Proficiency in software configuration, implementation methodologies and data migration tools.
Project management skills including scoping, RAID logs and change control.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end software implementations, including installation, configuration, testing and go-live support.
Lead design and deployment of integrations between Merlin and third-party systems (CRM, e-commerce, WMS, banking).
Plan and manage data migration activities ensuring data integrity.
Provide end-user training, documentation and post-implementation support.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships beyond go-live.
Support pre-sales activities including scoping, demos and statements of work.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to implementation methodology.
