Clancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to support delivery of environmental and sustainability objectives across our UK operations. You will work with operational teams, clients and regulators to ensure works are environmentally responsible and compliant.

You will provide expert guidance on environmental permitting, inspections, data reporting (ESOS, SECR, ISO14064/ISO14001) and drive continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence; travel to sites required.
• Experience with environmental permitting and consents in construction, infra or utility projects.
• Experience gathering, analysing and reporting environmental data (ESOS, SECR, ISO14064/ISO14001).
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and industry best practice.

Responsabilités

• Providing expert environmental advice and support across all phases of planned and reactive works
• Establish baseline environmental conditions and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
• Undertaking environmental inspections and audits
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on environmental performance
• Preparing and reviewing Environmental Management Plans (EMS), waste management plans, material management plans and emergency response procedures
• Delivering environmental training and awareness programmes across the business
• Supporting investigations of environmental incidents, near misses and non-conformances, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
• Working collaboratively with clients, regulators and operational teams to promote best practice and positive environmental outcomes
• Supporting the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programmes
