Job summary
Veolia Group is seeking a Business Development Lead to shape the future of integrated environmental solutions in the UK. This senior commercial role will connect investigation and remediation expertise with soil treatment and waste management to create high‑value client solutions.
You will own the full sales lifecycle, identify opportunities across the UK, and engage senior stakeholders to secure profitable contracts. Hybrid work from Cannock with national travel is expected.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership within environmental services or remediation.
- Strong understanding of contaminated land, environmental risk, remediation, soil treatment and waste management.
- Proven experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles with senior stakeholders.
- Experience engaging senior leaders, board-level stakeholders, site owners and procurement professionals.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales lifecycle from market identification to contract close.
- Build and manage a premium UK pipeline of margin-accretive opportunities.
- Shape customer requirements and influence procurement strategies before tender stages.
- Lead cross-functional bid teams to deliver compelling, robust proposals.
- Promote lower‑carbon remediation and sustainable solutions to clients.
