Veolia is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive the remediation business across the UK. The role is hybrid from Cannock with national travel, offering leadership over the sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract close.

You will cultivate relationships with COMAH and Defence site owners, real estate developers, and environmental consultancies to secure profitable contracts while promoting Veolia’s integrated remediation solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development or commercial leadership within environmental services or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of environmental risk, remediation and waste management markets.
• Proven track record in managing complex, consultative sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete sales lifecycle from market identification to close.
• Build and manage a premium pipeline across the UK.
• Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers to demonstrate value.
• Lead cross-functional bid teams to deliver compelling proposals.
• Promote sustainable, lower-carbon site development and remediation solutions.
