Veolia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Remediation in the Cannock area, with hybrid working and national travel. You will lead strategic sales across the UK, develop relationships with COMAH/Defence, real estate, and engineering clients, and coordinate with Veolia's teams to deliver integrated remediation solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership within environmental services/remediation.
• Proven track record in managing complex, consultative sales cycles with high contract values.
• Experience engaging senior leaders, site owners, consultants, developers, and procurement teams.
• Ability to identify opportunities early and influence requirements before procurement begins.
• Strong pipeline management and account planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a strategic business development plan across the UK.
• Identify, qualify, and convert high-value opportunities across key customer groups.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of premium, margin-accretive opportunities.
• Own the complete sales lifecycle from market identification to contract close.
• Engage senior stakeholders to protect client reputation and manage liabilities.
