Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Business Development Lead to shape the future of integrated environmental solutions across the UK. You will own the full sales lifecycle, build a premium pipeline, and position Veolia as the preferred partner for remediation and soil treatment. Travel nationally, with a hybrid base in Cannock.

The role calls for senior commercial leadership, managing complex cycles with stakeholders and delivering margin accretive projects while advancing sustainable, low-carbon solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership within environmental services, remediation or waste management.
• Strong understanding of contaminated land, environmental risk and remediation markets.
• Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales lifecycle from market identification to contract close.
• Build and manage a premium UK pipeline of margin-accretive opportunities.
• Develop Veolia's strategic presence with COMAH and Defence site owners.
• Engage engineering and environmental consultancies to position Veolia as a delivery partner.
• Lead cross-functional bid teams to deliver robust, commercial proposals.
• Promote low-carbon remediation solutions and sustainable site development.
