Job summary

Uniper is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead permitting for UK energy projects. You will coordinate with project teams, regulators and consultants to ensure compliant permit applications and variations.

You will provide expert advice on UK ETS requirements, support carbon reporting, and drive regulatory engagement with agencies and stakeholders across assets. The role emphasizes strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with environmental permitting for energy projects.
Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and permitting requirements.
Proven ability to manage multiple regulators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead coordination and delivery of environmental permits and consents for UK energy generation projects.
Manage external consultants and specialists for environmental assessments.
Provide specialist advice on environmental permitting and UK ETS requirements.
Lead the annual UK ETS monitoring, reporting and verification cycle for the Uniper UK Generation fleet.
Maintain and improve carbon reporting processes and governance.
Maintain relationships with regulators and external partners for regulatory engagement.
