Job summary

Contract Scotland seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental delivery across energy and infrastructure projects in North Scotland. You will drive environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives and best practice, working closely with project and site management to ensure regulatory and contractual requirements are met.

The role is site-based with a rotation option for those further away.

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental teams on major construction/infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage permits, licences and environmental risk.
• Strong leadership and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental leadership across major projects.
• Ensure environmental compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Develop and monitor environmental management plans and procedures.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage consents, permits, licences and exemptions.
• Identify and control environmental and sustainability risks.
