Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Environmental Consultant for Due Diligence (DD) to join our UK transactions team. You will help identify EHS and ESG risks and provide focused advice to clients on buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, including Phase I ESAs and ESG reviews, supported by desk research and site visits.

You will deliver due diligence assessments, support project management, and help develop client proposals.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of practical work experience delivering Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and ESG assessments.
• Solid understanding of UK environmental regulations and key European sustainability rules (CSRD, CBAM).
• Degree in geosciences, natural sciences, environmental sciences or engineering.
• Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel typically within the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Limited Environmental Compliance Assessments for diverse sites.
• Delivery of ESG assessments in support of buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence.
• Support project management activities and development of client proposals.
