Job summary

We are partnered with a leading organisation delivering one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. This role puts you at the forefront of environmental excellence, shaping compliance and sustainable best practice across construction activities.

You’ll lead environmental compliance, mentor teams, conduct audits, engage regulators and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement to protect project timelines and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental or scientific discipline.
• Experience on major construction/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of EMS and ISO 14001.
• Ability to liaise with regulators and stakeholders.
• IEMA Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance across construction activities.
• Influence project delivery through practical environmental advice.
• Carry out environmental inspections, audits and reporting.
• Build relationships with regulators, clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor environmental advisors and share knowledge.
