Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Security Engineer – Enterprise Security to co-own the day-to-day operation of our endpoint security and visibility stack. You will partner with a global team to evolve a modern zero-trust program, design policy, and triage incidents with an automation mindset.

You’ll work across Engineering, IT, and Security to implement tools and policies, mentor peers, and help secure Samsara’s vast physical-operations footprint while supporting a flexible remote work model for

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security and visibility tools at scale (e.g. CrowdStrike, osquery).
• Exposure to additional security tool stacks beyond endpoints (SASE, zero trust, email security, DLP, IAM).
• Automation mindset with Python scripting and SOAR platforms (AI-assisted tools a plus).
• Strong ability to assess severity and business impact of security issues.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the endpoint security environment.
• Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows with Security Operations.
• Write clear documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security to deploy tools and policies.
• Assist Security Operations during investigations as a technical SME.
