Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for Enterprise Security to own and operate the security environment at scale. You’ll keep network access, device trust, and visibility systems running, while advancing a modern zero-trust program.

The role emphasizes automation, collaboration with global teams, and hands-on management of production systems, including policy tuning, incident response, and vulnerability remediation. Remote UK applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale (e.g. Crowdstrike, osquery).
• Exposure to SASE/zero trust or IAM/DLP security tool stacks.
• Automation mindset with Python scripting and SOAR platforms.
• Ability to evaluate security issues and their business impact with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Co-own day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the endpoint security environment.
• Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows in partnership with the Security Operations team.
• Write clear documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security to ensure proper tool and policy implementations.
• Assist Security Operations during investigations as a technical SME.
• Triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Mentor engineers to grow security knowledge and tool skills.
• Champion Samsara cultural principles in daily work.
