Job summary

SmartSearch is hiring an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new business across Fintech, Payments, E-commerce and Accountancy. You will build and manage your own pipeline, targeting senior decision-makers and delivering an end-to-end sale from discovery to close.

The role involves travel across the UK, two days per week in Cardiff or Ilkley, and eventual hybrid working after training. Prior AML/KYC/IDV selling is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing £100k+ enterprise contracts.
• Experience generating your own opportunities, not only inbound leads.
• Confidence cold calling senior decision-makers.
• Experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Win new enterprise customers across Fintech, Payments, E-commerce and Accountancy.
• Own a self-generated pipeline alongside marketing-provided leads.
• Prospect named and strategic accounts via cold calling, LinkedIn, email and events.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Compliance, CTOs, CFOs and CEOs.
• Conduct discovery to understand processes, risks and tech environments.
• Sell AML, KYC, KYB, IDV, fraud prevention and onboarding solutions.
• Lead complex sales with procurement, legal and information security.
• Build compelling commercial propositions and business cases beyond price.
• Manage opportunities from first contact to close, with travel across the UK.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and hit revenue targets.
