Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group seeks an expert Architect to drive the technical vision and governance for a large-scale engineering program. You will design enterprise systems, data ecosystems, and AI integration strategies, setting target architectures and design patterns across a multi-cloud stack.

You will partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, secure architectures. The role requires hands-on R&D, PoCs, and collaboration with delivery teams to maintain

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with prior 3+ years as Principal or Senior Architect
• Experience designing large-scale, high-throughput, mission-critical distributed systems
• Background in data integration and relational platforms
• Proven ability to architect hybrid/multi-cloud solutions (Azure & AWS) and to govern AI/ML workloads

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end target architecture across diverse systems and data platforms
• Publish and maintain architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards
• Lead ARB processes to ensure designs meet NFRs such as scalability, security, and reliability
• Drive AI strategy, governance, and secure guardrails for AI adoption in regulated environments
