Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is building an AI platform with a focus on enterprise deployments and security. As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer deployments, architecting, deploying, upgrading, and managing the platform across environments.

You will establish standards, tooling, and repeatable processes while partnering across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• 4+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or solutions architecture with customer deployments.
• Deep experience with AWS services, Terraform, container orchestration, and cloud networking (VPCs, IAM, DNS, load balancing).
• Experience deploying in customer-owned cloud environments with security reviews and change management.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment architecture conversations and execution across customer environments.
• Manage full infrastructure lifecycle including initial deployment, upgrades, scaling, and incident support.
• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, upgrade procedures, and automation tooling.
• Partner with engineering to ensure the platform is deployable and operable across diverse customer needs.
• Collaborate with customers' platform engineering, security, and DevOps teams on constraints and compliance.
• Work with Sales and Customer Success to scope infrastructure requirements during pre-sales and onboarding.
