Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard AI systems across multi-cloud and on-prem environments. You will implement IAM, network segmentation, and secure CI/CD pipelines, driving security by design across teams and platforms.

You will mentor engineers, shape hiring, and collaborate with research, product, and operations to maintain trust and safety at scale.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale systems.
• Proficient in Python or a systems language (Go, Rust, C/C++).
• Experience with DevOps and cloud automation, infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on network security engineering in cloud or on-prem.

Responsibilities

• Build security for AI clusters across multiple clouds and data centers, including IAM and encryption controls.
• Design and implement network security controls with default-deny policies and inter-environment segmentation.
• Ship secure defaults using IaC and GitOps workflows across new clusters and data centers.
• Build visibility into network traffic and detect exfiltration paths with automated remediation.
• Design secure-by-design CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes security and identity management.
• Threat model and assess risk for multi-cloud networks and collaborate at design time.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to Security team growth.
