Job summary

Deliveroo, based in London, seeks a Senior Technical Recruiter – Engineering to join our hybrid team. You will own end-to-end hiring for senior technical roles and partner with engineering, product, and People to shape role designs and hiring strategies.

You’ll drive data-led decisions using market insights and dashboards, refine interview processes, and champion diversity and candidate experience across global markets. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing tech organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end technical recruitment in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or product organisation.
• Strong track record of hiring for complex, senior technical roles (Staff/Principal Engineers, Eng. Managers, or Technical Directors).
• Excellent sourcing and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior engineering leaders and close top-tier talent.
• Fluency with recruitment data and tools, including experience using ATS platforms (such as Ashby), LinkedIn Recruiter, and market insight dashboards to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior end-to-end hiring: Own full-lifecycle recruitment for critical, highly technical positions (Principal Engineers, Staff Engineers, and Engineering Leadership).
• Act as a trusted business advisor: Partner with Heads of Engineering, Product, and People to shape role designs and hiring strategy.
• Drive data-led strategy: Turn market intelligence and dashboards into actionable insights for hiring decisions.
• Optimise recruiting operations & bar-raising: Refine assessment frameworks and interview calibration with TA Operations to maintain high data accuracy across systems.
• Champion diversity, inclusion & candidate experience: Embed inclusive practices and mentor junior recruiters.
