Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Technical Sourcer, Engineering in London on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. You will partner with engineering recruiters and hiring managers to build diverse, high-quality pipelines across Backend, Frontend, and mobile teams, using LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby and developer communities to identify world-class talent.

You’ll own outreach that brings Deliveroo’s engineering challenges and culture to life, drive DEI initiatives, and ensure strong candidate experiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience sourcing technical talent in-house or in a fast-paced tech recruitment environment.
• Strong research and candidate engagement skills using boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Proactive, data-informed sourcing with understanding of metrics driving talent strategy.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage top-tier engineering talent using sourcing techniques and platforms.
• Craft personalised outreach to convey Deliveroo’s brand, engineering challenges and culture.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements and align on priorities across engineering functions.
• Deliver seamless candidate handoffs to recruiters and ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact to interview.
• Leverage data to track pipeline health and benchmarks to continuously optimise sourcing strategies and share market insights.
• Embed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practices across searches to broaden candidate pools.
