Job summary

Runtime is a fast-growing software scale-up delivering a fully managed SaaS platform relied on by software teams worldwide. We are hiring several Engineering Managers to scale leadership and growth in a remote-first setup across the UK and Ireland.

You’ll lead high-performing squads of 5–6 engineers, participate in system design, and drive trade-off discussions with senior engineers. Expect non-coding focus with hands-on oversight and mentoring, as we expand scale.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated software development background.
• Experience leading engineering teams to deliver on cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to steer product strategy and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of new product capabilities across one or more squads.
• Empower teams, remove blockers and hold teams accountable.
