Job summary

Ultra PCS, part of the Ultra Electronics Group, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager at its Cheltenham facility. You will lead the Mechanical Design and Development team, spanning New Product Introduction, R&D, and Aftermarket, delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will drive risk management, guide technical excellence, and partner with program management to satisfy customer requirements while developing talent for future growth within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and portfolio management experience in a matrix global team.
• Experience with design processes, product development and in-service support.
• Familiarity with defence/movements/industrial standards and DFSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Design and Development team for new products and aftermarket programs.
• Manage OTIF delivery, budgets and scope of work for multiple value streams.
• Provide technical leadership to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with program management and customer interfaces to meet project goals.
• Develop and coach engineering talent to align with strategic plans.
