Overview

Senior Engineering Manager (AI/Development) - Remote - UK — This role leads a global development team, driving Agile practices, AI adoption within the .NET ecosystem, and a Git-to-GitHub migration to enable structured, high-performing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and transform a global software development team into a high-performing, AI-enabled unit.
• Shift from unmanaged workflows to structured Agile practices.
• Drive adoption of AI within the .NET ecosystem and integrated database environments.
• Lead Git-to-GitHub migration with minimal disruption.
• Establish and track key development KPIs (cycle time, deployment frequency, CFR, etc.).
• Ensure accountability, process excellence, and innovation across a geographically diverse team.
• Align team outputs with organizational strategy while managing global collaboration challenges.
• Manage up effectively with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong background in .NET development, version control, and workflow optimization.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and leadership skills for distributed teams.
• Experience with ML.NET, ONNX Runtime, Semantic Kernel, and/or RavenDB AI capabilities.
• Exposure to managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones.
• Prior success in leading organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, and the ability to drive AI adoption and integration.
