Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with progressive engineering leadership responsibilities.
• 2+ years in engineering management, directly line‑managing engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering squads to meet roadmap commitments.
• Strong ability to translate product priorities into executable engineering plans.
• Experience with high‑availability distributed systems and software reliability.
• Hands‑on technical background to lead a deep engineering team.
• Proficiency with modern engineering practices: microservices, CI/CD, IaC, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Own Squad Delivery: lead engineering squads with accountability for delivery outcomes and team health.
• Develop Engineers: coach, mentor, and grow engineers with clear development paths.
• Champion Engineering Excellence: uphold code quality, testing, observability, and reliability in a global platform.
• Contribute to Technical Direction: translate roadmap into squad delivery plans and participate in architecture decisions.
• Champion AI-Augmented Development: drive adoption of AI tools and governance within the squad.
• Stakeholder Management: align with Product Management, Security, and Operations on priorities and roadmap.
• Operational Accountability: ensure reliability and performance of services with strong on‑call processes.
• People Leadership: participate in hiring, performance management, and building a high‑performing culture.
