Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Senior Engineer (Development) to lead the end-to-end development of major construction, reinforcement and customer connection projects across the SPM licence area. You will drive delivery from concept to completion with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring safety, schedule and budget alignment.

The role requires a degree in engineering, extensive project experience in utilities, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience developing and delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in route development, site selection and statutory consenting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of major construction, reinforcement and customer connection projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal specialists, contractors and consultants.
• Manage project risks, programmes, budgets and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved investment allowances.
