Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Project Manager to lead the development of strategically important transmission infrastructure projects within the development phase, and hand over to delivery. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance and alignment with RIIO-T3 goals while keeping governance and budgets on track.

The role requires delivering investable projects ready for construction, managing programme, cost, risk and stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large capital infrastructure projects.
• Strong procurement and contract management expertise (NEC, JCT, FIDIC).
• Proven ability to manage multi-year programs with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of planning, consenting and stakeholder management.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through concept, development and handover to construction.
• Deliver outputs, metrics and milestones aligned with targets.
• Manage risk and deliver scope safely, to cost and schedule.
• Administer contracts and ITTs.
• Forecast capital expenditure and governance.
• Create, manage and monitor project programmes.
• Engage stakeholders and communities per SPEN Charter.
• Lead continuous improvement and share lessons learned.
• Promote safety culture and CDM compliance.
• Support planning and environmental assessments.
