Caerphilly County Borough Council is recruiting a Senior Engineer for the Highway Structures team. You will inspect, maintain and improve highway structures across the county borough, taking responsibility for projects and delivering practical engineering solutions.

The role includes project financial management and mentoring toward ICE membership, with access to Local Government Pension Scheme, agile working and staff discounts.

Formación

• Relevant Level 4/5/6 CQFW qualification (e.g. HNC or degree in Civil Engineering).
• Full UK Category B driving licence and access to a vehicle for county-wide inspections.
• Proven ability to manage projects, inspect structures and apply engineering standards.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain and improve highway structures across the county borough.
• Lead design and supervision of remedial works to existing structures and new designs.
• Manage project budgets, fees and construction expenditure.
