Searchable is hiring a Senior Engineer in London to shape architecture, stack and engineering standards as the team grows. You will own features end to end, from data models to customer interfaces, and design systems for large volumes of AI‑search interactions.

The role emphasizes shipping weekly, making impactful technical decisions, and mentoring growing teammates. You’ll work with founders who’ve scaled companies, and join an office-based, five-days-a-week environment near London Bridge.

Qualifications

• Several years shipping production software across the full stack.
• Experience scaling backend and distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade agentic systems.
• Strong opinions on system design and willingness to adapt based on evidence.
• Comfort with ambiguity and turning vague problems into shipped features.
• Ownership beyond immediate remit and craft-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from data model to customer interface.
• Design systems that reliably process large volumes of AI‑search interactions.
• Ship weekly and iterate on real usage rather than quarterly plans.
• Make technical calls shaping product direction, not just tickets.
• Help hire and mentor as the team grows.
