Searchable is hiring a Senior Engineer in London to shape architecture, stack and engineering standards as the team grows. You will own features end to end, from data models to customer interfaces, and design systems for large volumes of AI‑search interactions.

The role emphasizes shipping weekly, making impactful technical decisions, and mentoring growing teammates. You’ll work with founders who’ve scaled companies, and join an office-based, five-days-a-week environment near London Bridge.

Searchable is an agentic marketing platform built for the age of AI search. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews have transformed how people discover information. Brands now need to measure and optimise their visibility across all of the major AI search engines.

We help companies grow their organic presence across SEO, AEO, and GEO through a fully agentic platform that identifies opportunities, recommends actions, and automates improvements with Searchable’s AI agent. We’re at $5M ARR in just 10 months, backed by top angels and VCs, and building the team that will define the category.

The Role

Join a small but rapidly growing engineering team, working alongside founders who’ve scaled companies before. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll shape the architecture, the stack, and the standards that the engineers after you inherit.

What that looks like day to day:

• Own features end to end, from data model to the interface a customer sees
• Design systems that process large volumes of AI-search interactions reliably
• Ship weekly and iterate on real usage, not quarterly plans
• Make technical calls that shape product direction, not just implement specs
• Help hire and mentor as the team grows

How we think about tech: This is product engineering — you’ll take features from concept to delivery, not just implement tickets. We’re pragmatic: right tool for the right job approach. You’ll work across the full stack, and lean on your prior experience scaling backend and distributed systems.

What we’re looking for

• You have several years shipping production software and are happy across the full stack, experience scaling backend and distributed systems, and/or hands‑on experience building production‑grade agentic systems
• You have strong opinions on system design, loosely held: you’ll argue your corner, then follow the evidence
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and turn vague problems into shipped features
• You take ownership beyond your immediate remit
• You care about craft: testing, readability, reliability and services that outlive their first version
• You want to build something that changes how marketing teams work, and you want a real stake in the outcome
