Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is recruiting a Senior Engineer for a Bristol-based project with a well-established client. The role involves setting out, producing As Built drawings, RAMS preparation, and ensuring health and safety compliance on site.

You will support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager, manage client relationships, and contribute to safe, efficient delivery. CSCS and SMSTS are required, along with a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Senior/Setting Out Engineer with RC Frame or Groundworks experience.
• Experience on-site management and RAMS preparation.
• CSCS and SMSTS certifications required.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Health & safety compliance and risk assessment duties.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Able to provide two recent professional references.

Responsibilities

• Setting out when required on site.
• Prepare and maintain As Built drawings.
• Support PM/CM in client relationships.
• Prepare RAMS and ensure safety compliance.
• Monitor and contribute to project delivery as needed.

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Senior/Setting Out Engineer for a RC Frame or Groundworks contractor.
• Manage and monitor the commercial performance of the project.
• Prepare and implement RAMS to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, undertake risk assessments, and report incidents or near misses.
• Support the Project Manager / Contracts Manager in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Carry out additional Site Engineer duties as needed to meet project demands.

• As Builts
• CSCS and SMSTS certifications, plus two recent professional references.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
